This was truly a beautiful wedding that I had the pleasure of capturing for Ashely and Matt Glauber. A new year’s eve wedding set at the Soledad Club overlooking the San Diego skyline. It was sparkly, modern and had a hint of vintage charm. I was really impressed with the wedding planning that was masterfully coordinated by Joyful Weddings (joyfulweddingsandevents.com), and the food by was SCRUMPSH….it was actually catered by a food truck! The challenge for this event video was the Bride was inspired by 8mm vintage looking wedding videos, and wanted to avoid a typical “static” or “cold” video. My approach for this shoot was to capture the “happiness” and emotion of the actual day, so I focused on capturing the candid moments often shared on these special days. By using two cameramen, a steadicam, and several lenses for my DSLR I was able to convey a dynamic and warm wedding music video for the client! Hope you like!
